CV Willeke Slingerland
Willeke Slingerland is als docent/onderzoeker werkzaam bij de Academie Bestuur, Recht & Ruimte van SAXION. Binnen de opleidingen HBO-Rechten en de Engelstalige Short Degree Programmes verzorgt zij o.a. de vakken Internationaal en Europees recht en Ethiek en Integriteit.
Willeke Slingerland is sinds september 2009 verbonden aan het SAXION lectoraat Governance, waar zij een promotieonderzoek doet naar corruptie. Door middel van onderzoek naar het netwerkkarakter van corruptie binnen verschillende landen in Europa, ontwikkelt zij een nieuwe visie op het Europese anti-corruptiebeleid. Sinds 2012 maakt Willeke deel uit van het Netwerk van Lokale Onderzoekscorrespondenten voor Corruptie (LRCC) voor het DG Binnenlandse Zaken van de Europese Commissie (subcontractor PwC). In 2010-2012 heeft zij als hoofdonderzoeker het onderzoek naar het Nederlandse Nationaal Integriteitssysteem uitgevoerd in opdracht van Transparency International. Voordat Willeke werkzaam werd als docent/onderzoeker, was zij o.a. operationeel teamleider binnen een internationaal technologiebedrijf (vestiging in het Verenigd Koninkrijk) en heeft zij gewerkt als medewerker binnen de Tweede Kamerfractie van D66.

Willeke Slingerland is docent/researcher at SAXION University of Applied Sciences, Academy of Governance, Law & Urban Developments since September 2009. She is in charge of English-spoken Short Degree Programmes on international and European Law, ethics and integrity. She is also a PhD-student doing research aiming at understanding the network-character of corruption in various European countries which should lead up to new visions on the European anti-corruption policy.
Since 2012 ms. Slingerland is the Dutch participant in the EU network of Local Research Correspondents (LRCC) reporting to EU-DG Home under a contract held by PwC. In the years 2010-2012 she was the lead-researcher for the EU-inspired, TI-(secretariat in Berlin) implemented study under the title ‘National Integrity System Assessment Netherlands’ . Earlier she was a.o. operational teamleader in a UK-based international technology company and worked in the Dutch Parliament as political assistant to the MP-group of D66, a left-leaning liberal political party in the Netherlands.
