In some countries nepotism, cronyism, and clientelism are acceptable and expected ways of conducting public affairs and business. After all, who can you trust more than a member of your family, tribe, religious group, or political party? […] Waste, mismanagement, and more corruption usually follow.
USA: whistleblower gets $104 million dollar. Finally: crime pays (!) to the one who unveils what went wrong. Part of the proceeds for the IRS and the Government in general, go now also to the whistleblower. There is, regretfully, also a growing need as retaliations against whistleblowers grow in numbers. My question: why see companies them not as a welcome management-instrument?
